TO SEE A THING AS IT IS
To see a thing with fresh eyes
To see it without the burden of the past
is to see it as it is,
the thing in intself.
Then you see a world in a grain of sand
an ocean in a drop of dew.
To see so is to reclaim
the word 'idea' in its original sense.
When 'idea' is made abstract
it becomes ideo-logy.
Then you see a communist, a socialist, an anarchist
an Indian, a European or an American;
you never see a being in its pure glory
